What is the Difference between a PROFILE and a Permission Set in Salesforce
Profile:
– A User can have only ONE Profile.

– A Permission set is a subset of permissions which can be applied to a group of users who are spread across multiple profiles. Permission sets eliminate the need to create multiple profiles to address each and every minor modification.
